The practice is located with Pivotal Point and overlooks Broadwater in the heart of the Southport CBD, just a short walk to Australia Fair and downstairs to many restaurants.

Brand new consulting and procedural suites ensure your comfort and safety.

Parking is available on Basement 1 Level with lift access to the suites.

Take these lifts up to Level 2 and turn right immediately to reach the practice.

At GIPS our Specialists and team are experienced and caring professionals. We pride ourselves on our first class knowledge and care with some of the most up-to-date equipment and modern evidence based procedures in calm and comfortable surrounds.

Dr Charles Snyman

BSc (Hons), BDent, D.Clin.Dent (Perio), FRACDS (Perio)

Charles’s completed a Bachelor of Science with Honours in anatomy, physiology and tissue engineering. He completed dentistry at the University of Sydney in 2005 and specialist training at Griffith University, graduating in 2010. Charles has mentored both undergraduate and postgraduate dental students helping shape the next generation of dental specialists.

As part of his commitment to cutting edge, evidence based treatment; Charles regularly attends national and international meetings. This also includes regular workshops with leaders in each facet of specialist periodontic practice.

Charles is an avid diver and escapes to the seaside whenever possible for ‘bubble therapy’.

Dr Tiffany Chen

BOHDSc, G.Dip.Dent, MSciMed, D.Clin.Dent (Perio)

Dr. Chen is the newest addition to our team. After completing her dental degree on the Gold Coast, she completed a master’s degree in orofacial pain before embarking on her journey into the specialty of periodontics. With over a decade of experience as a dental clinician, Dr. Chen is able to provide periodontal and implant treatment with a solid foundation and understanding of your dental health as a whole.

Dr. Chen is passionate about educating patients and ensuring a mutual understanding exists to achieve the longevity, function, and aesthetics that is desired. She takes pride in providing personalised dental care whilst maintaining the utmost levels of ethics and quality. Clear communications with patients, referring dentists, and interdisciplinary specialists means working with Dr. Chen is as straightforward as it is thorough.

Whilst she has great love for periodontics, Dr. Chen will also happily chat to you at length about all things related to acreage living, travel, health, books, and practically anything you can think of!
